Murray Hill’s Edgewood Avenue Business Corridor: The Next Small Business Hub
Small businesses are the lifeblood of Jacksonville and its surrounding neighborhoods like Murray Hill. A thriving neighborhood and small business ecosystem create vibrant commercial corridors and places for residents and visitors to get what they need, provides a space to connect with friends, and spurs local economic prosperity.
Home to the some of the oldest remaining commercial buildings in the city, the Edgewood Avenue Business Corridor is known for its growing restaurant scene, boutiques, billiard, and ax throwing venues, shared workspaces, craft beer, wine and coffee, entertainment, and bakeries. Collectively they have transformed Murray Hill into one of the coolest neighborhoods in Jacksonville. At the same time however, the Edgewood Avenue Business Corridor is also experiencing increased rents, empty retail space and warehouses, and small business turn-over.
Join the Murray Hill Preservation Association as our panel of experts discuss the challenges, the opportunities, and make a call to action to attract, create, and sustain small business growth along the Edgewood Avenue Business Corridor.
